A frustrating game saw Bangor go two goals up early in the first half before letting the lead slip to draw 2-2, and make it 2 draws from 2 for John Scott's Sunday side.
Both goals came from skipper Foxy who has scored all 3 league goals for the Sunday side in their two games to date. The first came after some great football, Aaron Coleman doing really well to release Wanner in space down the right side of the box, and Wanner squared a great ball to Foxy to slot home the opener.
The second started with a free kick in our own half, Eric McGill putting Foxy clear on goal with a brilliant long pass and Foxy finishing calmly to make it 2-0 after 25 mins.
Wayside then came back into the game and their set pieces looked dangerous, and it was from a free kick that they found a free man to head home their first to make it 2-1 not long before half time.
Wayside had the better of the second half and in truth their equaliser looked like it was coming., Bangor holding out until midway through the second half before it eventually did. Bangor rallied and pushed for on looking for the winner but never created a clear cut chance to grab it. Disappointing to drop points at home, but a chance to bounce back against TEK on Wednesday and get a first win of the new season.
